Our digital printing centre is not only affordable, but is easy to use. For your convenience, and faster service, you can send us your completed files via e-mail. Or we can take your photographs, 35mm negatives, transparencies, prints, or original art, and we will do the rest! Your posters, banners, etc will be impressive in size and appearance and the deep rich colours and the photorealistic quality will amaze you. With Our Service the Costs Associated with Traditional Printing Are Eliminated.

Example: To produce 50 posters to promote your business, special sales, or promotions that are specific to several locations or distributors would be cost prohibitive because the traditional printer would have to make four plates for each different poster, plus the other pre-press charges. Not with our service! With our service you could customize the poster for each location and the cost would be no more than if you created one generic poster that could be used in all locations. If you have only one location that is having a special event and you only want one poster, No problem. We have created custom one of a kind poster, banners, etc. for many clients. DESIGN/LAYOUT:

We have a full-service graphic design department with a Certified, Registered Graphic Designer on site. We will design corporate identity packages (including logo design, letterhead, and business cards), brochures and sales materials, posters, banners signs and displays. We have state of the art computers and software and offer a large variety of fonts, clipart, Photo CDs and Stock Photography and of course graphic expertise.

The software supported is updated and added to on a regular basis. If you do not see your software listed, we would be pleased to test one of your files for compatibility.

Files for output from other software packages can usually be saved as an EPS file with type converted to curves, paths, or outlines.

SCANNING:

We can scan virtually any size original, photographs, transparencies, slides, and 35mm negatives at 600 x 1200 optical resolution, and 36-bit colour depth. The type of original image and the scanned resolution determines the quality of the print.

Example: A clear sharp image scanned at an appropriate resolution will result in excellent quality prints. Scanning an original at too low a resolution will degrade the large-format print quality. Scanning at too high a resolution slows down the process and adds no quality to the print.

FYI:

4" x 5" file can be enlarged using our specialized software to 16" x 20" without the loss of resolution.

• Low-resolution files require extensive repair work or complete restoration to result in a good quality print.

IMAGE TYPES:

Transparency - The best image type for scanning to produce large prints.

35mm negatives - Excellent for scanning to produce large prints

Photographic prints - Good for scanning but must be clear sharp images to produce acceptable scaled large format prints.

Digital files - Most digital cameras create files that are only about 1 MB. This is not enough information to produce good quality large format prints.

CD stock photographs - Most images are usually created from scans of transparencies and are usually suitable for large format printing,

Compressed files - Images stored in this manner can lose valuable information during the compression process. If an image file must be compressed, choose JPEG, it is closest to the original image.
